We are a South African based NGO on a mission to transform how young people engage with their health, mental well-being, and relationships. Through education, community support, and real-world resources, Zithande is rewriting the wellness story of the next generation into one of confidence, choice, and care.

South African youth encounter numerous challenges related to sexual health and wellness including limited access to accurate information, healthcare services, and essential resources. These barriers significantly contribute to the high rates of HIV/AIDS transmission and teenage pregnancy.
Cultural stigmas surrounding sex and sexual health make it difficult for young people to access the information and support they need. Additionally, social ills such as sexual violence, substance abuse, and inequality further exacerbate the challenges facing our communities.
These vast challenges lead to significant health issues, underscoring the need for comprehensive education, accessible healthcare, and robust support systems to empower youth in better protecting their futures.

We seek to empower youth through comprehensive sexual health education and wellness empowerment initiatives. We are dedicated to promoting safe sex practices, raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, preventing teenage pregnancy, and fostering a deeper understanding of consent and healthy relationships.
We are committed to challenging harmful social norms, influencing policy, and promoting wellness;paving the way for a generation that is confident, resilient, and equipped to shape a healthier, more just society.
